Used Equipment: Item Number GA 124, Induction Melting Plant

Induction Melting System with the following components:

• Parallel resonant circuit inverter using thyristor technology, water-cooled, rated power 720 kW, rated frequency 1000 Hz, medium-frequency capacitors in the converter cabinet
  
• Induction melting furnace, capacity 1500 kg (steel), power 720 kW, 1000 Hz, hydraulic tilting, manually operated furnace lid
• Input transformer oil type, cooling type ONAN
• Pump station for the cooling circuit of the converter and the medium-frequency capacitors
  

A good starting basis for acquiring a complete induction melting system cost-effectively with your own labor. The system was previously operated with a large factory water cooling system.
We can support the entire project up to commissioning, providing all necessary documentation such as calculations and design of the required water cooling system, data for procuring a hydraulic power unit, drawings and parts lists for any missing components.

We can also supply the missing components.

The system was manufactured by the English company IHS Taylormade, is simple in design, and operated reliably for many years in a German foundry. We provided service and spare parts. The previous operator had two converters and furnaces (see item number GA 125) coupled together in such a way that the system output could be distributed between the two furnaces in any desired ratio.
